Basantapur Durbar is the tallest mounment in Kathmandu Durbar Square and the tallest cc in country. Rising nine-al high, this palace was built King Prithivi Narayan Shah 1826 B.S after his Kathmandu valley conquest. Images of :rent gods and goddess, some them engaged in different c positions, are carved on the struts.
