QUEEN OF HILLS, BANDIPUR

Famous as the queen of hills, Bandipur was the administrative centre of the Tanahu 7 7 68 when the district headquarters was moved to Damauli. It is situated --7 of 1050 meters above sea level. Bandipur is famous for Newari culture, Taises, ancient temples and shrines, and Siddha cave. Amazing view of a7.an ranges, including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu, Buddha, Ganesh Langtang adds to the beauty of the place. Bandipur is also famous for viewing Likewise, Raniban (queen's forest) is famous among tourists for bird watching. Spur is also popular for rock-climbing and mountain biking. The hilltop settlement is minded by villages of Gurung and Magar communities. To reach Bandipur, one has awl 8 km long uphill blacktopped road from Dumre Bazar that lies at a distance 25 kin in the west of Kathmandu and 75 km in the east of Pokhara. One can get services from Dumre, while one can choose to take a two hour long walk from inagar to reach the tourist destination. Bandipur has plenty of lodges, hotels and etc in accommodate the tourists.
