Pous. Yomari purne is celebrated by making and eating
Yomari, a sweet Newari dessert made of rice power dough filled with sugar molasses, sesame or
khuwa (kind of condensed milk) which is then steamed. There is a common belief that by eating Yomari, our body will get energy and will help us to resist the chilly winters of December and January.
