SURYABINAYAK TEMPLE

Suryabinayak temple lies 1.5 km south of  Suryabinayak. It is one of the four vinayak temples of Kathmandu valley dedicated to lord Ganesh. A shrine of Ganesh I is situated at the bottom of a green hill while the main temple is situated atop the hill where Hindu goddess and mother of Ganesh, Parvati, is worshipped. The temple area is also a popular picnic spot and the starting point for the hike of Lakuribhanjyang and Ranikot.
