After stepping inside the Golden Gate, one comes across a n small courtyard with an attractive golden water spout known as Sundhara (Golden Tap). It is Ibelieved this golden tap was constructed for water that was once supplied all the way from Mahadev Pokhari in Nagarkot to worship the Taleju Bhawani temple nearby. This place is also called royal bath area where queens used to take a shower.
