The Vishworup Temple is situated at a distance of around 200 meter from the Gorakhnath temple that lies midway along the way to the Guhyeshwori Temple from the Pashupatinath Temple. The Mughal style temple was constructed during the reign of Prime Minister Jung Bahadur Rana. it is believed that it took one hundred years to complete the construction of the temple. The temple houses an idol of Vishworup or the unified form of all gods of the Hindu pantheon. Only Hindus are permitted inside.
