THIMI TOUR

 Thimi is a typical Newari settlement in the town of Bhalctapur. Known as Thimrin during the ancient rule of the Kirats, Thimi is located at the midpoint connecting Bhaktapur with Kathmandu and Lalitpur. It is also known as Madhyapur Thimi. This settlement is ideal for observing Newari culture and lifestyle. It also has many temples dedicated to different gods and goddesses. Adjacent to Thimi is Nagadesh and Bodhe. Nagadesh is popular for golden window and the Siddhi Ganesh temple, while Bodhe is known for Nilbarahi temple. Mahalaxmi temple and its famous tongue piercing festival.

 Sandwiched between Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapt. Thimi is also known as Madhyapur Thimi.lt is an ancient town inhabitants where we can observe Newari culture. ancient rni and temples. Around 1 km north from Sankhadhar Chowk to I we can observe the traditionally clustered Newari houses. Potter along with Hindu and Buddhist temples and stupas on the way_ d Bahakha, we can reach Nagadesh where we can see the golidel and the temple of Siddhi Ganesh.
