WORLD'S TALLEST STATUE OF LORD SHIVA

The 143 feet tall statue of Hindu god Shiva is situated at Sangabhanjyang of Bhaktapur. It is the world's tallest statue of I lord Shiva built around a park on a hill top. The giant statue of Shiva is accompanied by the  statues of seated Nandi (Shiva's mount), his wife Parvati and their sons Ganesh and Kumar. The place offers a commanding view of most parts of Kathmandu valley. It is situated on the border separating the districts of Bhaktapur and Kavre.
