SILASATAL

Silasatal, which means a pavilion made out of leftover wood in Newari, is close to Kasthmandap. It is said that this temple was built out of wood that remained upon completion of Kasthamandap. This three-storied temple houses the statue of lord Hari Shankar. It is opened for worship once every year during the festival of Krishnaasthami.
