TAU DANA

 Among different lakes located in Kathmandu valley, Taudaha is the largest lake, located just 1.5 km away from Chobhar. It is said after Manjushree drained 1 out the great lake to form the I Kathmandu valley, one of the 1 lake inhabitants 'Korkotak Nag' (serpent god) got furious. Manjushree appeased 'Korkotak Nag' by settling him in Taudaha. Boating is prohibited in the lake as the belief goes that the serpent god should not be disturbed. 1 Visitors enjoy their time in Taudaha feeding the fishes. A I number of amorous couples can I be seen spending some quality 5 time with their loved ones. There are a number of restaurants around the lake to serve the tourists. The famous Dakshinkali Temple is just 12 km from here. i The Taudaha lake is located 5 km south from Kathmandu's Balkhu I Ring Road.
